Is my home appropriate for treatment?

______________________

Most homes are able to accommodate a massage table, which measures approximately 1 metre by 2 metres, and requires sufficient space around it for me to move comfortably and maintain proper posture. A living room, kitchen, or larger bedroom is usually suitable.

How can I get my space ready?

______________________

I need a minimum area of 160cm x 280cm (6.5ft x 9ft) to set up my table and move around it safely.

During colder months, I recommend pre-heating your room to keep it warm and cosy. You might also want to have an extra blanket on hand for added comfort.

To make the most of your treatment, please be ready when I arrive. This includes moving furniture, showering, and completing any necessary tasks beforehand, so you can enjoy every minute of your massage. Being prepared ensures you receive the full duration of your treatment and the best possible experience.

While I bring all the equipment needed, you’re welcome to add personal touches such as incense, an essential oil diffuser, or candles. You may also play your own music if you have a preferred soundtrack for relaxation.

How can I get myself ready for the treatment?

______________________

To ensure maximum comfort and relaxation during your massage, I suggest:

  • Choosing a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed, allowing you to fully unwind.

  • Showering and completing any tasks, emails, or childcare duties before my arrival, so you can enjoy every moment of your treatment.

  • Putting your phone on silent, if possible.

  • Wearing a bathrobe over your clothes, making it easy to stay warm after your massage.

I will provide everything you need*, including the massage table, towels, music, and oils. However, if you’d like to play your own music or use any of your own items, I’m happy to accommodate.

Parking and access

___________________

I may be unable to provide services at properties with multiple flights of stairs, steep steps, small rooms, or limited access.

Adequate parking is essential. If you don’t have a private driveway or designated space, please ensure there is nearby parking available to safely load and unload my equipment. Any parking fees incurred must be reimbursed to me upon arrival.

Do you offer treatments in hotel rooms?

______________________

Yes, I can visit hotel rooms. However, some rooms may be too small to accommodate the massage table. If you’re unsure, I recommend sending a photo of the room or connecting me with the hotel concierge to discuss options. Please also confirm with the hotel that they allow massage services. Keep in mind that some locations may not be suitable if there’s no nearby parking or if access involves steep, narrow stairs, as is common in some older properties.

Who can have massage?

______________________

Massage is generally safe and suitable for all ages, genders, and body types, though my table supports a weight range of 18–35 stone. Anyone under 16 will require parental consent and must have a parent or guardian present during the session. If you are seeking treatment for a specific condition or injury, I’m happy to answer your questions—either via the Contact tab at the top of the page or by phone.

Is it okay to remove my underwear for the massage?

______________________

Unless you are receiving a Lomi Lomi massage, which requires the removal of underwear to allow full-body effleurage strokes, you should keep your underwear on. As part of my safety and hygiene protocols, underwear must remain on, though I recommend removing bras for the massage.

What conditions can massage help with?

______________________

While I cannot guarantee specific results, massage has been known to help with:

  • Stress relief, muscle aches and pains, joint stiffness, reduced mobility, and loss of flexibility

  • Sleep difficulties, headaches, and migraines

  • Sciatica, postnatal recovery, runner’s knee, ITB syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and injury recovery

  • Fibromyalgia, M.E., chronic pain, and more

Massage can support overall wellbeing and complement other treatments, though individual results may vary.
